Data and storage

Snowflake engineering

A cloud data warehouse that separates storage from compute, so analytical load can scale without competing with anything an application is doing.

When we reach for it

Analytics across large volumes and multiple sources, particularly where several teams query concurrently and one team’s heavy report must not slow another’s.

When we would argue against it

Consumption pricing rewards discipline and punishes its absence. Without warehouse sizing, query review and cost monitoring in place, the first surprising invoice is a matter of time.

What it looks like in delivery

We put cost controls and query attribution in at the same time as the first pipeline, because a warehouse that nobody can attribute spend on will eventually be capped by finance rather than by engineering.

Nothing on this site names it yet

We work in Snowflake, and no case study or service page currently published on this site prints it in its stack. Rather than describe an engagement you cannot check, this space stays empty until one does. Ask us and we will talk you through it directly.
