Expo development

The toolchain that removes most of the build, signing and over-the-air update pain from a React Native project.

When we reach for it

Nearly every React Native engagement. Managed builds and over-the-air updates mean a fix can reach users without waiting on a review queue, which matters when the app is being used to do a job today.

When we would argue against it

Native modules outside the supported set need a custom development build, and that is a real cost to weigh before starting rather than discover in the last sprint.

What it looks like in delivery

We set up over-the-air updates and staged release channels at the beginning of a project, because the value of shipping a fix in an hour is only available to teams who built the road before they needed it.

Nothing on this site names it yet

We work in Expo, and no case study or service page currently published on this site prints it in its stack. Rather than describe an engagement you cannot check, this space stays empty until one does. Ask us and we will talk you through it directly.
