When we would argue against it
The ceremony is real, and it is a poor trade for a small application or a small team. We do not recommend it for greenfield work unless the surrounding organisation is already standardised on it.
What it looks like in delivery
Version upgrades across the long tail of releases, breaking a monolithic application into lazily loaded routes, and getting change detection under control on screens that had begun to feel slow.
