When we reach for it
Domain-heavy systems inside organisations already invested in Microsoft infrastructure, and modernisation work on the .NET Framework applications that quietly run a business.
A mature, strongly typed language with a first-class answer for long-lived line-of-business systems, and the one most enterprise estates we are handed already run on.
What we reach for first
Domain-heavy systems inside organisations already invested in Microsoft infrastructure, and modernisation work on the .NET Framework applications that quietly run a business.
We would not introduce it to a team with no .NET operating experience purely on technical merit. The best language on an engagement is often the one the client can hire for and support after we leave.
A large part of our C# work is migration rather than greenfield: lifting a Framework application onto modern .NET, separating the parts that deserve to move to the cloud from the parts that should stay where they are, and putting tests around behaviour that was only ever documented by the people using it.
Where this appears on the site
We work in C#, and no case study or service page currently published on this site prints it in its stack. Rather than describe an engagement you cannot check, this space stays empty until one does. Ask us and we will talk you through it directly.
Tell us what it is running, what it costs you today, and what you need it to do next. A senior engineer will tell you what we would keep and what we would change.
