A deployment platform built around Next.js, with preview environments per pull request and effectively no infrastructure to operate.
When we would argue against it
Long-running or compute-heavy backends do not belong here, and the pricing model rewards checking before you commit. For a system with substantial server-side work, the API goes somewhere else.
What it looks like in delivery
Usually the front end on Vercel and the heavier services on AWS or Azure behind it — chosen because deployment previews change how a team reviews work, not because it is less to think about.
